Passengers with No Bags – A Vision 2030 Initiative
Key Features:
- Home-to-Airport Baggage Shipping: Travelers can send luggage ahead to their destination, completing check-in procedures at their residence or hotel up to 24 hours before flight time.
- Enhanced Passenger Experience: Reduces airport processing time and improves passenger flow.
- Availability: The service commenced in Q1 2024, supporting domestic and international flights at all airports across the Kingdom.
- Eligibility: Passengers must hold a valid confirmed ticket and submit required travel documents; prohibited items are not permitted.
This initiative directly supports the Kingdom’s broader aim to increase connectivity to 250+ global destinations via 29 airports and to grow air freight capacity from 0.8 million to 4.5 million tons by 2030.
